Entreprenurial Teen Grand Challenge Participants Wow Judges

The Quality Mobile Small Engine Repair Team from Espanola took First Place in the Entreprenurial Teen Grand Challenge and received $400 to build their business. The event was held Monday at UNM-Los Alamos as part of Los Alamos ScienceFest 2014. Judges were impressed by the achievable goals outlined in their proposal. ALBUQUERQUE – During a visit to the University of New Mexico’s Science & Technology Park Aug. 28, U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., was briefed on Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) projects from Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.
