NNSA Publishes Draft Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement For Los Alamos National Laboratory

NNSA News:

The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has published its Draft Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement (SWEIS) for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) assessing current and future impacts of the Lab’s operations.

It will be available for public review and comment beginning Jan. 10, 2025, for 60 days. The SWEIS analyzes the potential environmental impacts of LANL operations for approximately the next 15 years.

The Laboratory Retiree Group (LRG) invites Lab retirees (and potential retirees) to drop in at the LRG monthly breakfast social, between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Muy Salsas at 1315 Trinity Drive. Come hang out and join the conversation with other Lab retirees.
