Frederick Brendon Williams passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 85.

He was born to Arthur and Annie Williams on October 23, 1932 in Washington DC.  He survived polio at age 13 then went on to serve in the army from 1951 to 1954 as a Staff Sergeant in Korea, earning four bronze stars by the age of 19.

Joe Ben Apodaca, born June 8th 1923 in Santa Fe, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 10th, 2018. 

Joe was known to his friends as “Hosa” (The Bear). Joe grew up in Santa Fe and was the oldest of 12 kids born to Celestino and Guadalupita Apodaca. He began working at age 6 selling newspapers on the street corner in front of his Uncle Frank’s convenience store. He was an amazing athlete, and during his high school years he starred in Baseball, Football, and Track for both St. Michaels and Santa Fe High.

On February 6th, 2018, Cornett Philip Wood died peacefully at home after many years of battling leukemia. His wife dutifully took care of him until he died, surrounded by family and friends. 

Phil is survived by his wife, Debby Wood; their daughter, Jessie Ross, their son, Austin Wood and Phil’s brother, Greg Wood. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Chris Ross and daughter-in-law, Natalie Wood. Five granddaughters called him their “Grandpa Goatie.”

She is survived by her brother in San Francisco Ernst Reise and her children: Barbara Foote (Del), Bonny, Lawrence (Leslie), Deborah Pierce (Steve), Louisa Gilani, Erna, and Bertie Sorenson (Danny): her 15 grandchildren; and her 14 greatgrandchildren.
