Aleah Stahl, 36, of Los Alamos is back in custody at the Los Alamos Detention Center two days after Los Alamos police officers and Fire Department EMTs responded to her home and found she had reportedly overdosed on heroin. She will remain in custody until she goes to trial.

Charges Filed In District Court Against Dustin Bingham

Deputy District Attorney Michael Nunez has filed a five-count criminal information against Dustin Bingham in First Judicial District Court, and as a result, is expected to dismiss the 11 counts pending against him in Los Alamos Magistrate Court.

Bingham is a former Los Alamos Police Department Detention Officer who worked for LAPD from 2012 to 2015 and went on to serve as a Santa Fe sheriff’s deputy until last February when he resigned. The alleged crimes occurred between November 2015 and 2017, several months after his employment at LAPD ended.

Charges have been filed against Krista Wilhelm in Los Alamos Magistrate Court after Los Alamos Police Department removed some 50 hypodermic needles Aug. 1 from her home.

LAPD officers responded to an address on Orange Street for a criminal trespass complaint involving Kevin Herring and reportedly observed “methamphetamine related drug paraphernalia throughout the home”, including multiple needles, methamphetamine cooking spoons, two “loaded needles” and multiple suboxone on the floor.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene of a man wanted for a probation violation, who barricaded himself inside a Sierra de Los Pinos subdivision home Tuesday in the Jemez Mountains.

FBI Agents, Task Force Officers Involved In Albuquerque Shooting

FBI special agents and Task Force Officers were involved in a shooting with a suspect during a law enforcement operation in southwest Albuquerque on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017.
 
The suspect was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital. No law enforcement officers were injured.
 
The shooting occurred at approximately 3 p.m. in the area of 59th Street SW and Lucca Avenue SW.

No Injuries In West Jemez Road Accident

Traffic is delayed Monday afternoon on West Jemez Road as a man and his grandson are rescued from their vehicle after it left the road and ended up in a ravine some 50 feet below. Los Alamos Police Officers Tim Lonz, Jay Eakins and Cmdr. Preston Ballew responded to the scene following a 911 call and rescued the two people from the vehicle. FBI: Navajo Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Federal Prison For Conviction On Involuntary Manslaughter

ALBUQUERQUE  Tracey Beaver, 38, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation who resides in Pinehill, was sentenced in Federal Court in Santa Fe, to 60 months of imprisonment on each of two counts of involuntary manslaughter to run consecutively for a total of 120 months of imprisonment.
 
Beaver will be on supervised release for three years after completing his prison sentence.
 
Beaver was arrested on Sept. 24, 2016, on a criminal complaint charging him with involuntary manslaughter. According to the complaint, Beaver killed two victims when he crashed
