On the evening of Wednesday, March 18, the Los Alamos Police Department’s Patrol Shift led by Sgt. Monica Salazar-Casias executed a search warrant in the Denver Steels neighborhood.

Improvised Explosive Device Recovered In Taos

NMSP News:

TAOS COUNTY – The New Mexico State Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team assisted the Taos Police Department regarding a call involving an improvised explosive device at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The EOD Team recovered a destructive device at the Dream Tree Transitional Living Shelter and rendered it safe. All materials found were taken into evidence and an investigation is underway. The possibility of filing any charges is pending the outcome of that investigation.
