Single Vehicle in Rollover Crash on N.M. 4

A grey Dodge Ram pickup traveling on N.M. 4 rolled over this afternoon sending the female driver to Los Alamos Medical Center for treatment.

Sgt. James Rodriguez told the Los Alamos Daily Post at the scene of the accident that a witness reported the grey pickup was heading north bound on N.M. 4 when it caught the edge of the roadway and fishtailed across the yellow line.

Thieves Steal Tires Off Knapp’s Wraps Mobile Eatery

Knapp’s Wraps mobile eatery is sitting on blocks after thieves stole all four tires off the vehicle at 128 N.M. 4 in White Rock Monday night. Shoplifting Drama Unfolds in Downtown Los Alamos

Police arrested Melissa Carpenter of Los Alamos Wednesday afternoon and charged her with shoplifting $250-$2,500 worth of merchandise, which is a fourth degree felony.

Carpenter, 36, was captured with the help of Deborah Stone-Richard, a native of Virginia, who is on an extended visit to Los Alamos.

Stone-Richard was volunteering Wednesday at Fuller Lodge Art Center, 2132 Central Ave., when she heard a crash of sales items on the floor.

Wrecked Paint Truck Removed From Mountain

The truck left the highway Sept. 18 and landed 200-300 yards down a steep rugged cliff into Bandelier National Monument property. Young Girl Remains Hospitalized Following Wednesday’s Crash

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office reports that the 13-year-old girl injured in Wednesday’s head-on collision near the White Rock “Y” on N.M. 4 remains hospitalized in Albuquerque.

The two-car accident sent both drivers to the hospital and left a 14-year-old Los Alamos boy dead.

An online report by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office reports that the boy, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at the scene.

Capt. Adan Mendoza of the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office this evening released the names of the drivers involved in today’s fatal head-on collision on N.M. 4.

Jennifer Ventura-Trujillo, 41, of White Rock was driving a 4-door Honda sedan with a 13-year-old female passenger and a 14-year-old male passenger inside, he said.

Police have reopened N.M. 4 near the White Rock “Y” following today’s two-car crash in which a Los Alamos teenage boy died.
