NM Museum Of Natural History & Science Researchers Uncover New Species Of Prehistoric Fish Near Socorro

ALBUQUERQUE — A new genus and species of ’demon-toothed’ prehistoric fish that lived more than 300 million years ago was uncovered in Socorro County by a research associate from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.
