Archaeologist Speaks At Calvary Chapel This Weekend

Dr. Steven Collins will speak Saturday and Sunday at Calvary Chapel.

Collins is an archaeologist with decades of experience with digs in Israel and Jordan. He will give three talks: 6:30 p.m. Saturday,  9:15 a.m. Sunday and during the 10:30 a.m. main church service.

At the 10:30 a.m. talk, Dr. Collins will explain his reasons for believing he has discovered the ancient City of Sodom.

“There is a saying in Israel that goes, ‘Every time a shovel is turned over a skeptic becomes a believer,'” Collins said.
