A pilgrimage of 40 to 50 women will walk on West Jemez Road around noon Thursday, June 7 to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Canyon Road, where they will stay for the night.
The group will continue the walk at about 4:30 a.m. Friday, June 8 to San Ildefonso Pueblo.
They are participating in the annual Pilgrimage for Vocations and began walking early Monday morning from Albuquerque and will end their pilgrimage Saturday morning, June 9 at the Santuario del Chimayo.
