The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper’s Swim and Dive Team honored this year’s seniors by taking first place in both the boys and girls competitions at the Bill Hudson Memorial Swim Meet, the team’s lone home meet. Toppers Shine In Wrestling Meets Against Pintos & Jaguars

The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper boys and girls wrestling teams won their home meets against the Moriarty Pintos and Capital Jaguars in matches Wednesday in the Auxiliary Gymnasium. The boys lost to Moriarty 36-38 and won 54-18 over Capitol. The girls won 48-3 over Capitol and tied with Moriarty 30-30. The Los Alamos High School Girls Wrestling team battled tough and finished 6th out of 17 teams Saturday during the Jaguar Invitational held at Capitol High School in Santa Fe. 

Gala Nelson (107) and Jade Blackhart (145) took 1st place in their weight divisions while Natalie Crawford (185) took 2nd and Molly Castille (132) took 4th.

The UNM Lobo mens basketball team hosted the NMSU Aggies Saturday night at the UNM Pit in front of a sold out crowd of 15,435.

The Lobos set the tempo for the game early with a dominating offense led by Jaelen House. House led the scoring for the Lobos with 28 points.

The Lobos led by a staggering 46 points at one point during the game. The final score was 106-62 in favor of the Lobos.
