The Taos Winter Sports Team (TWST) traveled to their first International Free Skiers Association (IFSA) event of the season in Wolf Creek on Saturday Jan. 21. More than 100 athletes competed on either skis or snowboards in U12 (athletes 10-11 years of age) and 12-14 age divisions.

The Los Alamos High School Navy Junior ROTC (NJROTC) completed its annual Area Manager’s Inspection the morning of Friday, Jan. 20.

During the event, cadets were under strict review of personal grooming requirements and military bearing, as individuals and as a unit.

Toppers Swim & Dive To First Place In Hobbs

LAHS News:

Strong individual performances combined with team depth in relay events led the Topper swimmers and divers to a first-place finish at the Hobbs Reid Eagle Invitational meet Jan. 20-21.

“We saw great efforts by the entire team,” Coach Chris Wetteland said. “I’m happy that we had everyone compete so well. This shows the last month of hard work is paying off.”
