Coach Sharleen Espinoza

SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department has hired Sharleen Espinoza for the Head Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2014-15 school year. 

Coach Espinoza has served as an assistant varsity and Junior Varsity Coach for Los Alamos High School, since 2011. She also is a club volleyball coach for a 12 and under group with Fusion Volleyball.

Espinoza is a 2006 graduate of Los Alamos High School. She is pursuing a B.S. in Physics through University of New Mexico.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics wrapped up its Junior Olympic Boy’s Competitive season last weekend with the New Mexico Junior Olympic State Championships.

New Head Coach Mike Kluk

LAHS SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department has hired Mike Kluk for the Head Boys Basketball Coach for the 2014-15 school year. Kluk took over the program as the interim head coach in January.

He played college basketball at Odessa Jr. College in Odessa, Texas from 1978-1980. He has coached various sports and levels of sports since being at Los Alamos.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics Atomic Tumblers traveled to Albuquerque last weekend to compete in the annual Junior Olympic Level 4 and 5 New Mexico State Championships.

ATOMIC TUMBLERS News:

Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers Level 3 Junior Olympic Gymnasts competed in the 2013-2014 Season New Mexico State Championships March 8-9. The Atomic Tumblers entered nine gymnasts in the competition and eight of those scored over a 34 all-around.
