The Topper Baseball team fell to the Albuquerque Academy Chargers 3-18 in a nonconference game played on Bomber Field Tuesday afternoon. The LAHS boys Varsity Golf team was victorious Tuesday at the St. Mikes Spring Tournament held at Santa Fe County Club. The hilltoppers battled the wind and cold weather to record an awesome team score of 301, securing 1st place ahead of St. Mikes (313) and Santa Fe High (327). National Horseshoe Pitchers Association Brings 2026 U.S. Open To Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE — Albuquerque will host top horseshoe pitchers from across the country at the 2026 U.S. Open Horseshoe Tournament, set to take place at Mariposa Basin Park beginning today, April 10, through April 12. The national event is expected to bring 350 competitors, supporters and spectators from across the U.S. to Albuquerque and contribute $150,000 in estimated direct spend to the local economy.
