Atomic City Transit: Bus Stop #116 Closure And Detours

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit will be detouring in-bound routes Central Avenue to Knecht Street to Trinity Drive to 15th Street and returning on Central Ave. 

Temporary bus stop #116 will be closed.

Customers are encouraged to use bus stop #115 on 9th Street and Central or #119 near the downtown post office.

The detour will affect Routes 2M, 3 and Express Routes 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 all in-bound stops only.

Traffic Pattern Changes On N.M. 502 Begin Wednesday   

COUNTY News:

Be advised that the following changes to traffic on N.M. 502 will take effect Wednesday, May 12:

Eastbound N.M. 502 traffic will be moved onto the eastbound segment of N.M. 502 upon completion of the paving operations.

Westbound N.M.502 traffic will remain in the current traffic lanes being used.

Residents exiting and entering Arroyo Lane are advised to exercise caution crossing the eastbound lane to access westbound N.M. 502. Please pay attention to traffic control signage that is in place. Read More

Atomic City Transit Resuming Regular Operating Hours

COUNTY News:

Atomic City Transit will resume regular operating hours for fixed route and paratransit bus service beginning Monday, May 10.

Service will be provided 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Dial-A-Ride service is provided on a space-available basis 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, after fixed-route service ends. To request Dial-A-Ride, call (505) 661-RIDE (7433) beginning at 6:30 a.m. the day of service.

Peak service is not being provided at this time.

Atomic City Transit continues to maintain employee and passenger safety by complying with public health recommendations. Read More
