The North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Buses will not be in service Friday, July 3 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The exception will be the 255 Mountain Trail to the Santa Fe National Forest, which will be in operation that day.
Saturday, July 4, the 255 Mountain Trail and the weekend 305 Taos Express will be in service.

The North Central Regional Transit District’s RTD Blue Bus will resume regular route and scheduled operation on six routes June 29.
The routes had been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The routes include the 255 Mountain Trail, 305 Taos Express, 400 Los Alamos, 280 Eldorado, 260 La Cienega and 310 Red River.

NMDOT: Virtual Car Seat Inspections Available In July

SANTA FE — Car seat inspections are still possible by way of virtual instruction.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation’s Traffic Safety Division and Safer New Mexico Now will host virtual car seat education sessions through Zoom.
The one on one sessions will provide parents and caregivers instruction on the proper selection, installation and use of their car seats from nationally certified child passenger safety technicians.
Beginning in July, the virtual sessions will occur noon to 2 p.m. every first and third Wednesday of the month.
