Semi Truck Slides Off NM 4 Near White Rock

LAPD News:

Los Alamos and Santa Fe County police responded to the scene of a semi truck that slid off N.M. 4 this morning between the truck route and White Rock.

Cmdr. Oliver Morris told the Los Alamos Daily Post that no injuries were reported.

He explained that traffic flow was delayed while a large tow truck was called in to hook-up the semi and haul it away.

N.M. 4 is now clear and traffic is moving along at a normal pace. Read More

Utility Work On Arizona Set For 8 a.m. Thursday

Due to inclement weather, utility work on Arizona Avenue that was scheduled for Tuesday will occur instead Thursday, Feb. 21.

Parker Construction, under contract with Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, will excavate on the south side of Arizona, just east of 45 Street to locate a water leak. 

Traffic will be restricted to one lane Thursday at the construction zone beginning at 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., with two-way traffic accommodated by a flagging operation.

Motorists can expect some delays.
