Sparked by a massive solar storm, the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), was visible across the nation Friday night including this scene above White Rock. While this local view not visible to the eye, it was there and captured with a 30 second exposure on camera. NNMC Hosts El Rito Arts Festival Mercado May 18-19

ESPAÑOLA — Northern New Mexico College will host the 2024 Artist Mercado during the 36th annual El Rito Arts Festival May 18 and 19. The Mercado will feature local artists, music, food and activities for the entire family 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in El Pueblito (located behind Grant Gym).
