ALBUQUERQUE ― USDA Rural Development State Director Terry Brunner announces the availability of grant funds to provide technical assistance to rural ag producers from socially-disadvantaged groups that have experienced race, ethnic or gender prejudice.

PHOENIX  Monday, June 15, The Internal Revenue Service announced that all empowerment zone designations remained in effect through the end of 2014.
 
Empowerment Zones are certain urban and rural areas where employers and other taxpayers qualify for special tax incentives.

Junior Golf Association Club Swap June 21

The Los Alamos Junior Golf Association (non-profit) will host its annual club swap 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday June 21, at Los Alamos Golf Course. 
 
We are accepting donations of used golf equipment. Donations can be dropped off between now and June 21 at the golf course pro shop.
 
The sale will benefit the local junior golf association as well as the Los Alamos High School Golf Team.
