Goodie Bags Offered To LANL, Sandia, Uranium Retirees

ALBUQUERQUE — Nuclear Care Partners is partnering with Visiting Angels, Mayberry Senior Services and Senior. One to give out free goodie bags to former Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and uranium workers.

The goodie bags contain toilet paper, masks, gloves and lots of other goodies.

To maintain the health and safety of participants and staff, a drive-thru pick-up event is being held Tuesday, June 9 to distribute the free goodie bags.

Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation (LACDC) has purchased limited amounts of personal protective equipment (PPE) to donate to small businesses located in Los Alamos County.

With the New Mexico health order now requiring individuals to wear facial coverings in public, and the added precautions businesses are taking as their stores prepare to reopen, many are in need of masks and other PPE. Young Leader Speaking Tour 2020 Goes Virtual

Creativity for Peace is a Santa Fe-based nonprofit organization that trains young Palestinian and Israeli women to partner as leaders by breaking down barriers of anger and prejudice, facilitating friendships, and inspiring action to promote peace.

NM Delegation Hails $5.5 Million In Housing Assistance Grants For Communities Across New Mexico
