County Hires New Library Manager

Los Alamos County has a new Library Manager, Eileen Sullivan. She will begin her new position July 3.

 

Sullivan takes over from Steven Thomas, who resigned in March to take a job in Seattle. She said she is excited to take the helm of a library system that exceeds national benchmarks and is among the stellar libraries in the state.

Ariana Rowberry, a Los Alamos native, was working in the Middle East Directorate in Washington, D.C., when she decided to take some time off before going to law school this fall. PEEC Receives Funding To Get People Outside

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC), operators of the Los Alamos Nature Center, recently received two grants to help get people outside.
