Scout Camp Wraps up Today

The Scouts try their skill on the rope course under the watchful eye of adult volunteers. There were 137 Cub Scouts at the camp Wednesday. The camp runs through today and is an annual event held for about the last 25 years. It’s Chamberfest Weekend and that means lots of festivities downtown kicking off at 7 p.m. today with Greg Abate, beebop sax-man from Rhode Island and the Pete Amahl Trio performing live on Central Avenue at Main Street.

Eddy & the Nomads perform in concert 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the same stage Saturday.

Our Lady of the Woods will meet at the Pyramid Cafe on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 6 PM. Anyone interested in paganism, Wicca, or learning about OLW is welcome to join us.
 
Our Lady of the Woods, an eclectic Wiccan coven based in Los Alamos, will hold a Drumming circle in North Mesa Park on Monday June 11, 2012 at 6PM.  Bring a drum or other musical instrument if you have one. Park and Ride has issued a Rider Alert summarizing additional Blue Route adjustments, tentativley scheduled to begin June 18.

Riders are asked to review the Rider Alert and the Draft Schedule and provide comments by noon Tuesday, June 12.
