County Customer Window Closing For An Hour Thursday

COUNTY News:

The lobby-facing windows at the Los Alamos County Customer Care Center in the Municipal Building will be closed 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday so staff may attend a meeting.

The Customer Care Center at the Department of Public Utilities is typically open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Since in-person service is already reduced to allow for social distancing of staff and customers, the one-hour closure should have minimal impact on the public.

County To Distribute Free At-Home Rapid Tests To Residents

Los Alamos County Emergency Management staff will distribute free at-home rapid antigen tests to Los Alamos and White Rock residents Tuesday in White Rock and Wednesday in Los Alamos.

Drive-through stations will be set up 1-3 p.m. as follows:

US Army Patriot Battalion Invites Public To Attend Community Day Saturday Feb. 19

The Los Alamos community is invited to a special Community Day to meet the U.S. Army Patriot Battalion, take photos of patriot missile equipment, and watch demonstrations of missile reloads.

No live weapons or ammunition will be on site.
