Los Alamos County Golf Shop Updates Hours

COUNTY News:

Beginning Monday, Feb. 14, the Los Alamos County Golf Shop will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

The Golf Shop will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

This schedule will continue through March 15.

Don’t forget that Golf Passes for the 2022 season are available for purchase at the Los Alamos County Golf Course Pro Shop at 4244 Diamond Dr. All passes can only be purchased at the golf shop as online pass purchases are unavailable.

Atomic City Transit Increasing Capacity On Buses Today

COUNTY News:

Beginning today, Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit (ATC) is removing capacity limits on ATC fixed route buses.

ATC will continue to maintain employee and passenger safety by complying with public health recommendations.

In accordance with the latest Governor’s Executive Order as well as federal mask mandates, passengers and operators are required to wear face coverings to board and ride the bus.

Staff continues to follow measures to further enhance public health safety as service is expanded by providing hand sanitizer for customers and staff.

Lane Closures Scheduled On Trinity Drive Saturday

COUNTY News:

Temporary lane closures of about 20 minutes affecting westbound traffic are scheduled 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 on Trinity Drive.

The Los Alamos County Information Management Division staff will conduct routine inspections of fiber optics infrastructure in vaults within the roadway between Knecht Street and 20th Street.

Motorists can expect brief lane closures:

  • First, crews will drop the lane adjacent to the sidewalk east of the Trinity/Knecht intersection;

New Mexico COVID-19 Update Feb. 4: 2,104 New Cases, Totaling 489,701 With 19 Deaths & 350,084 Recovered

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials Friday announced 2,104 additional COVID-19 cases.

Los Alamos County reported 8 new cases Friday, bringing the total to 2,456  people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 19 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19 and a 7-Day positivity rate of 23.3 percent.

Los Alamos County Airport Re-opens After Closing Wednesday Due To Hazardous Weather Conditions

After closing down Wednesday morning due to hazardous weather conditions, the Los Alamos County Airport re-opened at 4 p.m. today, Feb. 3.
