Branding Presentation To Council Moved To Dec. 1

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County staff has rescheduled its branding presentation to the County Council from Nov. 17 to the meeting Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Council Chambers.

At the meeting, County staff and branding consultants Atlas Advertising will present three options for Council’s consideration and possible selection, including two different brand straplines with complementary logo concepts, and a standalone logo concept with no strapline.

Kirsten Bell is a welcome addition as the new coordinator to the Driving While Intoxicated Planning Committee (DWI-PC) for Los Alamos.

Flagged Utility Poles To Be Replaced In Barranca Mesa

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities’ contractor, Elite Power, will be replacing utility poles in the Barranca Mesa area starting next week.

Poles to be exchanged are marked with a red flag and located in utility easements. Crews will have minimal impact on traffic as they move through neighborhoods replacing flagged poles one at a time.
