Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) will host its Annual Teddy Bear Clinic Monday, Sept. 29.

Approximately 200 kindergartners, their teachers and parent chaperones will tour LAMC in order to learn about the hospital and the various departments, all while gaining a comfort level within a healthcare setting.

Vendors Sought For Chamisa’s Fall Arts And Crafts Fair

CHAMISA News:

Chamisa Elementary School 2014 Fall Arts and Crafts Fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 and will be done in conjunction with the Pinon Pumpkin Patch.

Early bird tables can be purchased for $35 before Oct. 1, after which the price increases to $40. The fee includes a 3×6 foot table and 4×8 foot space. Electricity is available for booths. This year, vendors have the option of setting up 6-8 p.m. Friday or starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

LAHS Offers Bus Service To RMACAC College Fair

Los Alamos High School is offering bus service to the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC) College Fair at UNM “The Pit” Arena Sunday, Oc. 5. 

The bus will leave LAHS at 10  a.m. and return at approximately 5 p.m. The cost for the bus ride is $20. A minimum of 20 students is needed or the bus will be cancelled.
