LA Piecemakers Hold Quilt Market Saturday

Thinking outside the box: Instead of painting the rock in White Rock the Los Alamos Piecemakers created a ‘rock cozy’ out of fabric to advertise the upcoming Quilt Market. Made out of old sheets and orphan blocks, the cozy can be re-used for years to come. The only concern is having someone paint over it, so the group attached a note with contact information for removing the cozy. Los Alamos Piecemakers Quilt Market is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday at Crossroads Bible Church, 97 East Road. Courtesy/LAP
