Inaugural Co-op Summer Showcase Kicks Off May 15

COMMUNITY News:

The Inaugural Co-op Summer Showcase opens at 6 p.m. Friday, May 15, with local rock band Baggage Claim. All concerts will be held at Co-op Park adjacent to the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union at 1010 Central Ave.

This free concert series offers music from local musicians at an outside venue as opening acts for the main Friday summer concert series.

The Arts & Crafts Fair is back this weekend and the community is invited to join the Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) and more than 100 vendors from all over the region, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fuller Lodge. Pick up a gift for mothers, beat the rush for graduation gifts, or just come out to support independent artisans.

LAAC is welcoming new artists alongside old favorites, ranging in medium from food to jewelry to woodworking.
