Secretary Of State’s Office Announces Modernized Online Business Portal, Refunds For Prepaid Account Holders

STATE News:

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office (SOS) announced Friday that all business transactions with the SOS’s office beginning Nov. 12, 2024 will be conducted through its online business filing portal.

The SOS’s online filing portal, SOS Enterprise, has been the portal for Notary, UCC and Facsimile Filings for the past year. In November, all Business Filings will be a part of this portal, allowing for a more user friendly and updated environment. Customers will be able to register and maintain their businesses through this portal.

2024 Los Alamos Holiday Lights Parade Is On!

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County, in partnership with Los Alamos MainStreet and the Creative District, announced today that the 2024 Holiday Lights Parade is on and will take place 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, during the WinterFest weekend.

The theme for this year’s parade is “Winter Brilliance”.

Registration for parade participants is now open at Eventbrite and closes at noon Nov. 27.

NCRTD Holiday Closure, MyBlue Ridesharing Fare Change

NCRTD News:

Effective Oct. 15, 2024, the North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) will restore the $1 fare for MyBlue™ ridesharing trips in Española and Taos. The fare was temporarily waived in January of 2023 when the Blue Bus adjusted service levels due to a shortage of available bus operators and MyBlue™ served as an interim transit solution.

Trips booked for rides within the Pojoaque-Nambé zone will remain fare-free. All regular Blue Bus routes are free of charge across the service area.

New Mexico Unemployment Insurance Operations Center Closed Monday In observance Of Indigenous Peoples Day

ALBUQUERQUE – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed Monday, Oct. 14, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.

The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
