Natural Gas Pipeline Extension To Bring 80 Jobs, New Development To San Juan County

AZTEC — A 13-mile natural gas pipeline extension to the San Juan County Industrial Park near La Plata, New Mexico, is now complete, marking a major infrastructure milestone for economic development in northwest New Mexico.

The pipeline, supported by a $3.9 million Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) investment through Economic Development New Mexico (EDNM) in partnership with San Juan County, delivers reliable natural gas service to the industrial park and to homes and businesses along the route.
