Friday, May 22 @ 9 a.m. — Graduation Rehearsal at Sullivan Field  

*MANDATORY* for participation in Commencement

  • Find your seat in the bleachers.
    • Seniors with last names beginning with A-Mark should sit on the bleachers that are closest to the Track Shed (old bathroom building) and those with last names beginning with Mart-Z will sit on the bleachers closest to the Field House. 
  • You may want to carpool with friends – Park in DSA, Jock Lot or Sullivan Field lots. *Do NOT park at the Church Lot by Sullivan Field
  • Do NOT wear your Cap & Gown to rehearsal.

County Shares Detailed Schedule For Piñon Park Pool

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County staff are excited for the opening of Piñon Park Pool, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 23.

Piñon Park Pool will also be open from 1-5 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.

Staff has shared a more detailed schedule for the 2026 summer season at the facility.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
    • 7-9 a.m. –  Lap swim, 6 lanes
    • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Lap swim, 6 lanes 
  • 2 lanes are reserved for swim teams Monday through Thursday
    • 12 p.m. to  6 p.m. – Open recreation swim
    • 6-7 p.m. –  Lap swim, 6 lanes
  • Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Open recreation swim and 505 swim lessons

I have known Steve Lynne for 23 years. Steve was the Los Alamos County Chief Financial Officer during my eight years on the council.

Santa Fe Studio Tour To Host Preview Reception At Community Gallery June 4

SANTA FE — The Santa Fe Studio Tour will host a preview of artwork from all the artists’ participating in the 2026 Santa Fe Studio Tour. Participating artists will be there to greet the public. There is no admission charge; food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served. The event runs from 5–7 p.m. at the Community Gallery, 201 W. Marcy St. Santa Fe, NM.
