Toppers Win Match With St. Mike’s Horsemen 4-0

The Toppers hosted the St Mikes Horsemen to a nonconference match played on Sullivan Field Monday afternoon and won 4-0. The match was close, but the Toppers pulled ahead late in the second half and scored 4 unanswered goals for the win 4-0. Toppers Topple Elks 58-20

The Toppers burst out onto Sullivan Field Thursday evening to play a nonconference game against the Pojoaque Elks. The Elks are a longtime rival and the games are always fast and furious, and this game was no different. It was a penalty-marred chippy contest with 32 penalties and 2 Elks ejected from the game. The Elks had a good first quarter but started to feel the power of the Toppers and just could not keep up with the Toppers for the rest of contest and the Toppers pulled ahead to win 58-20. The League of American Bicyclists is reviewing Los Alamos County’s application to renew its Bicycle Friendly Community status and is inviting residents to share their feedback through an online survey open now through Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025. The survey will help the League evaluate bicycling conditions in Los Alamos County as the community seeks to move from its current bronze designation to silver status.

September Update For Los Alamos Golf Course

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County staff evaluated the course Sept. 4 for any problem areas and assessed its overall status for additional play.

Staff has confirmed that the front nine is holding up well and will be making a slight adjustment to the schedule. 

Based on the golf course project management team’s evaluation of the golf course, the Los Alamos County Golf Course has announced a new schedule.

Beginning Sept. 24:

  • An additional day for play – The golf course will open at 3 p.m. on Wednesdays, and all day Thursdays through Sundays.

County Seeks Statements Of Interest From Individuals Or Businesses To Operate Los Alamos Golf Course Restaurant

The contract between Los Alamos County and Cottonwood on the Greens, the current restaurant at the Los Alamos County Golf Course, is coming to an end.

The Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) is now inviting Statements of Interest from individuals or businesses interested in operating the golf course restaurant space at 4244 Diamond Drive, Los Alamos.

On-site restaurant space walk-throughs will be available on the following dates and times:
