Atomic City Children’s Theater Holding Auditions for Disney Aladdin Jr.

Atomic City Children’s Theater (ACCT), the Los Alamos Public Schools’ after-school theater program, is excited to announce auditions for their Elementary School production of Disney Aladdin Jr., a two-act musical play based on the smash Broadway hit.

I guess I jumped the gun…

Last week I started checking the mail  for my ballot. I quizzed my husband about it, thinking that he had accidently misplaced it. This weekend there is a gun show at the Pueblo Gym. The gym is on a site owned by the Los Alamos Public Schools. This means that very soon, 40 vendors will gather for the purchase and sale of guns on our tax-payer supported school property.

Hilltalkers to Debate UNM-LA Mil Levy Thursday

The League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 at UNM-Los Alamos.

The event will take place in the Lecture Hall in Building 2. The purpose of the meeting is for the public to get information about the proposed mil levy.
