Hesperus Ski Area News:

The 2022/23 ski season at Hesperus Ski Area will conclude Sunday, March 19.

Next week, Hesperus will offer extended hours and daily operations for lift-served skiing and tubing to help locals and visitors make the most of the last turns of the season.

Upcoming Fundraiser For African Library Project At SALA

Two movies filmed in Africa will be shown at the SALA Event Center (former Reel Deal) Monday, March 20, to help raise funds needed ($5,000) for the cost of shipping eight school libraries to Malawi later this month.

Tickets ($10) for the movies may be purchased in advance online here. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.

ALBUQUERQUE — The Albuquerque Film & Music Experience (AFMX) and Historic Lobo Theater are teaming up to present “Night at the Oscars” to celebrate the biggest night in Hollywood.

Prior to the pandemic, Night at the Oscars was the hottest invitation in town for filmmakers, film lovers, actors working in New Mexico, and the Albuquerque arts community. “We are excited to bring back our annual Academy Award party that was put on hold in 2020 due to COVID-19,” said Ivan Wiener, Executive Director of AFMX.
