SALA Los Alamos Event Center announces a week of fun-filled events that are sure to delight visitors of all ages. From Wednesday through Sunday, SALA will host a range of programs and movies, with something for everyone.

Today the After School Program will take place 1-5 p.m., providing kids with a chance to enjoy games on the big screen and arcade games. The talent contest, “Los Alamos Got Talent” will also be held at the same time, and we encourage all elementary students to participate. PAC 8 thanks the local businesses for the large assortment of generous donations. African Library Project Upcoming Fundraiser At SALA Today

Two movies filmed in Africa will be shown at the SALA Event Center (former Reel Deal) today, March 20, to help raise funds needed for the cost of shipping eight school libraries to Malawi later this month.

Tickets for the movies may be purchased in advance online here. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.

Los Alamos High School Olions: Pippin Opens Thursday

LAHS News:

This week is Pippin’s opening starting Thursday. Performed by the Los Alamos High School Olions, this will be a production the community will not want to miss.

Pippin is a musical originally released in 1972 with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, was also a great contributor to the libretto. Fosse also originally choreographed Pippin, so you will see that the dance in our rendition is inspired by him.
