Santa Fe Botanical Garden presents GLOW – A Winter Lights Event in the Garden, opening Thursday, Dec. 4, at Santa Fe Botanical Garden at Museum Hill. Entrance to GLOW is by admission. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets are available online and at the door at www.santafebotanicalgarden.org.

WGN’s new series, Manhattan, a fictionalized look at life in Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project, only has one episode in the season left.

The Los Alamos Historical Society wants to continue to thank everyone who comes to our viewings and discussions for contributing their thoughts, questions, and experiences. The Society looks forward to the season finale on Sunday. “The Judge” stars Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall as estranged son and father, Hank and Joseph “Judge” Palmer. Vincent D’Onofrio and Jeremy Strong play Judge’s other two sons, who, unlike Hank, still live in the same small town as their father.

“The Equalizer” stars one of my favorite leading men, Denzel Washington, as a quiet man living a mundane life in Boston until the day he has a brush with the Russian Mob.

As the story unfolds, we learn very few details about Robert McCall, Denzel’s character in the film. He appears to be a person with a strong sense of justice and some expertise in health and fitness. He lives in an upstairs apartment in a modest neighborhood, rides the bus to work, and seems well liked by his co-workers at Home Mart, where he has a job in the lumber department.
