New Mexico COVID-19 Update March 10: 384 New Cases, Totaling 514,901 With 14 Deaths & 483,235 Recovered

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials today announced 384  additional COVID-19 cases.

Los Alamos County reported 4 new cases today, bringing the total to 2,686 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 14 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19 and a 7-Day positivity rate of 4.8 percent.

Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:

  • 107 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 1 new case in Catron County

Chart 622: Los Alamos Now Green On CDC COVID Map

Today, the CDC released its weekly update to the COVID-19 community level map. The CDC framework designates community level based on diagnoses and hospitalization levels (link). Masks are recommended indoors in counties with the highest (red) community level. Masks also are recommended for at-risk (for example, immunocompromised) individuals in counties with the intermediate (yellow) risk level. Local Curative COVID-19 Testing Delayed Until 10 AM Today

Curative COVID-19 PCR testing in Los Alamos is delayed due to weather.

Officials with Curative indicate they will arrive by 10 a.m. at the Mari Mac Village Shopping Center parking lot at 759 Central Ave.

LAVNS Hosts Daffodil Sales In Los Alamos And White Rock

LAVNS News:

Due to weather this week, Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service will sell daffodils 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at 109 Central Park Square.

Also, daffodils will be sold 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday at the Smith’s in White Rock.
