SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials announced 83 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

Los Alamos County reports 1 new case bringing the total to 541 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 1 new death in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today the most recent cases:

  • 27 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 1 new case in Chaves County
  • 2 new cases in Curry County
  • 5 new cases in Doña

SANTA FE — Friday, U.S. Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez announced that Hands Across Cultures in Española received $50,000 to help prevent substance use among youth in the community.
