Los Alamos Public Schools has moved a step closer to bringing middle and high school students back to campus two days a week beginning March 1.

“We passed our COVID-safe inspection from the Fire Marshall held yesterday at the middle school and high school,” Superintendent Kurt Steinhaus announced Friday.

LAMS Student Council Hosts Mental Health Fair

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 407 New Cases, Total Now 179,724 With 23 New Deaths And 117,635 Patients Recovered

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 407 more positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 4 new cases today bringing the total to 463 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

Today’s update includes 23 more deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today’s most recent cases:

  • 127 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 12 new cases in Chaves County
  • 5 new cases in Cibola

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 512 more positive tests for COVID-19.

Nambe Drugs, New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and Los Alamos County officials would like to provide additional information to Los Alamos residents who have an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Sunday, Feb. 14 in Griffith Gymnasium at Los Alamos High School, 1300 Diamond Dr.
