Los Alamos Toppers Win Española Sundevils 2025 Season Opener

Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers charge onto the field to play the Española Sundevils for a nonconference game on the Sundevil’s home turf in Española Friday evening only to have the game canceled due to rain and lightning and rescheduled for Saturday. Scene from the Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) and Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) charitable softball game dubbed ‘Guns vs. Hoses’ played Friday at Overlook Park in White Rock. Following a fun and exciting match, the hoses doused the guns 38-7. The teams played to raise money for the Special Olympics. It has been a long-standing tradition for LAPD and LAFD to come together to support local Special Olympics athletes.
