Los Luceros Historic Site hosts its Dawn ‘Til Dusk Day on the first Sunday of each month, offering visitors a full day of exploration, nature, and culture. The Historic Site is open 5:50 a.m. to 8:20 p.m. Sunday, July 6, with a bird walk at 7 a.m., followed at 1 p.m. with story time.

LAAC And Missoula Children’s Theatre Host Auditions For Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs July 14

LAAC News:

A free audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre original adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, July 14, at Crossroads Bible Church. Students auditioning should arrive at 10 a.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Students cast in the performance will be asked to remain for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. In years past, Missoula Children’s Theatre has cast every student who has auditioned whenever possible, but a space for all students can not be guaranteed.

Attending the opera for the first time last year was a remarkable experience. It became eminently clear why The Santa Fe Opera is called “The Best Opera Festival In The World” … and why I am now hooked.

A dear friend of mine has adored the opera for years. Her first experience dates back to the third grade when the Santa Fe Opera brought the opera to her class via their outreach program. The Los Alamos County Library is thrilled to welcome back the beloved circus performance troupe Clan Tynker for an evening of family-friendly entertainment. The event will take place from 5:30–7:30 p.m.,   Monday, June 30, at Ashley Pond Park and pavilion.
