Wrap up winter at Pajarito with one last hurrah — Skiesta — Saturday, March 29, with the mountain opening at 10:30 a.m.! This will be the final day of the season, and its going out with a party packed with music from Sunbender, beer from Bathtub Row, friends, and memories on the mountain.

This will be the only day open, Pajarito will be closed Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

The winner of the 2025 Dog Jog logo contest is Gracie Nichols, one of the youngest winners ever. This talented Pinon fourth grader produced a clever and imaginative drawing showing a free-spirited dog enjoying nature and the great outdoors. Her drawing will be the official logo for this year’s Dog Jog event and she will receive a free t-shirt featuring her artwork. The Pajarito Astronomers Club will host a “Dark Night” 7:30-11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Overlook Park in White Rock.

The Pajarito Astronomers Club hosts County-sponsored Dark Night observing sessions through November. These sessions are open to the public and occur once a month (on a Saturday evening near a new moon) when Los Alamos County turns off all the athletic field lights at the park.
