Old Jasper Blankenship went out to hunt deer the other day, the same way he’s done for decades now. He’s slower than he used to be, of course. Deer season has changed a lot for Jasper over the many years he’s been at it. Section Of 43rd Closing For Sewer Work Nov. 13-Dec. 13

COUNTY News:

A short section of 43rd Street off Urban Street will be closed for sewer system work Nov. 13 through Dec. 13. The closure will be in front of the properties at 2149, 2159, 2164 and 2177.

A new sewer main will be placed in the work zone. The work, to be done by Parker Construction on behalf of the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, will take place during business hours. Steel plates will be placed on the road in the work zone for emergency access afterhours.

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit regular scheduled bus service will not operate Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
