No Bus Services Nov. 24-25 For Thanksgiving Holiday  

ACT News:

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no Atomic City Transit (ACT) regular bus and paratransit services scheduled in Los Alamos and White Rock Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25.

Regular service will resume Monday, Nov. 28.

Route 3 and 2 peak services will remain suspended until further notice due to staffing shortages.

Washington D.C. – On the first anniversary of the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), joined other senators in a letter to the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) requesting an update on NHTSA’s implementation of critical safety provisions in the law.

This update includes Sen. Luján’s legislation to implement drunk and impaired driving technology, the RIDE/HALT Act, which was passed into law in the infrastructure package. Read More
