Atomic City Transit Announces Temporary Bus Stop Closure At Diamond Drive And 38th Street  

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit announces today a temporary Stop Closure Notice.

Stop #174 at Diamond Drive and 38th Street will be closed  for the repair of a water line break. This closure will affect Route 5 & 6 outbound trips from the Transit Center.

On Route 6, the closest available stops are Stop #300 Villa & 38th, #304 35th & Diamond, and #173 Diamond & Sycamore.

On Route 5, the closest available stops are Stop #175 35th & Diamond, and #173 Diamond & Sycamore.

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit will be detouring in-bound routes Central Avenue to Knecht Street to Trinity Drive to 15th Street and returning on Central Ave. 

Temporary bus stop #116 will be closed.

Customers are encouraged to use bus stop #115 on 9th Street and Central or #119 near the downtown post office.

The detour will affect Routes 2M, 3 and Express Routes 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 all in-bound stops only.

Traffic Pattern Changes On N.M. 502 Begin Wednesday

Be advised that the following changes to traffic on N.M. 502 will take effect Wednesday, May 12:

Eastbound N.M. 502 traffic will be moved onto the eastbound segment of N.M. 502 upon completion of the paving operations.

Westbound N.M.502 traffic will remain in the current traffic lanes being used.

Residents exiting and entering Arroyo Lane are advised to exercise caution crossing the eastbound lane to access westbound N.M. 502. Please pay attention to traffic control signage that is in place. Read More
