This site plan shows the location of the Co-Op Park going in next to the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union under construction at 10th and Central across the street from the Los Alamos Daily Post. The Co-Op Park will be approximately 10,000 square feet in size and provide a place for food vendors, music, and community gatherings. Traffic Alert: Pavement Preservation Work On Canyon Road

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets Division crews begin today, April 7, to conduct pavement preservation work along Canyon Road, from 15th Street to Diamond Drive, and Central Avenue from Oppenheimer to Canyon Road.  

This work is scheduled to continue through April  21. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on days when the weather and temperature are favorable.

A flagging operation will be used and pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle traffic are urged to use caution while traveling through this work zone.

Thankfully it’s not that cold.

This morning, in robe and slippers, right out of bed, I snuck down to the garage. The kiln had reached cone 6 yesterday evening and had been cooling throughout the night.
