The Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico’s Transgender 101 presentation set for today, Monday, Dec. 2 and the Transgender 201 presentation set for Tuesday, Dec. 3 have been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Presentations will be rescheduled in the spring with information released to the public once dates are set.

This week marks the annual, Everything Christmas sale for the United Church Thrift Shop.
The event is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 2525 Canyon Road.
The many volunteers have collected items throughout the year, and hope to have the exact item you have been have been searching for this holiday season.
Norma Puckett is one of those volunteers and knows it takes a village or in this case an army, to accomplish such a monumental task.

The annual Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos and Del Norte Credit Union, 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.
The Los Alamos Flute Choir is schduled at 9 a.m. to perform a special program of Christmas Carols. Also, Santa Claus is scheduled to attend the breakfast and children can have their picture taken with him.
