LALT Presents ‘Tick, Tick…BOOM!’

LALT News:

The countdown is underway for “tick, tick… BOOM!” — the opening production in Los Alamos Little Theatre’s 2019-20 season.

The show runs Sept. 13-28 with performances at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Los Alamos County Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St.

LAPS Thankful For Smith Auditorium Endowment

The Los Alamos Public Schools and the Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF) have announced that the Endowment for Duane Smith Auditorium (DSA) has had a successful first year and is now actively paying out.

These proceeds are used to fund the preservation needs of this valuable resource that serves not only LAPS, but the entire community.

LAAC Features Black Mesa Brass Quintet During Brown Bag Show At Fuller Lodge Noon Wednesday

Los Alamos Arts Council will have the second performance in its noontime Brown Bag Series Wednesday at Fuller Lodge.
 
The performance will feature The Black Mesa Brass Quintet. The Black Mesa Brass Quintet was formed in 1990 and still has three of the original five members. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of classical, modern, pop and jazz tunes.
 
They play a variety of venues, including concerts, educational performances at schools, weddings and other special occasions.

The final performance of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival for this summer played to an almost full house at the Lensic Monday, Aug. 16.
