SANTA FE — The Santa Fe Opera has announced the recipients of its annual Outstanding Apprentice Awards.
 
Each season, talented young singers and technicians take part in the Santa Fe Opera’s Apprentice Programs, where they receive intensive training and play critical roles in the creation, both on stage and off, of the season’s five mainstage productions.

Annual Ullrfest On Pajarito Mountain Today!

The community is invited to pray to the Norse God of snow for a good ski season in 2019-20 and have some fun at the annual Ullrfest, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Pajarito Mountain Ski Hill.

Did you know that you have your very own history museum? Executive Director Liz Martineau of the Los Alamos Historical Society and Museum said that she believes they belong to the people of Los Alamos.
 
The popular destinations serve, through a combination of sources including:
  • 47 percent from fundraising and donations;
  • 25 percent from gift shop sales; and
  • 28 percent from Los Alamos County.

The community is invited to this year’s production of Murder, She Danced! presented by Dances of India. 

The event is 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Duane Smith Auditorium in Los Alamos.
