A whole lot of Los Alamosians have seen the Red Elvises and I imagine that many of them will be at the Pond Friday. I think they’ve played for us 17 times and I’ve reserved a date with them for next year. If you haven’t caught this band, I suggest you join their fans. This is Los Alamos’ favorite band!

- Community asked to join in ‘Thanks for the Musical Memories’ honoring Russ Gordon
Los Alamos County Community Services Director Brian Brogan announced today that the Council has asked County staff for a special recognition honoring long-time concert producer Russ Gordon for his thousands of hours and 28 years of service dedicated to bringing great musical acts to Los Alamos.

CHAMBER News:
The community is invited to come downtown 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to enjoy music, dance, shop, dig in a giant sand pile, look at 4×4 vehicles, and explore other family-friendly entertainment.
Chamberfest is expected to draw more than 2,000 residents to the downtown area. Businesses and nonprofits utilize this opportunity to provide giveaways and games for attendees as well as sell merchandise and distribute information.
Chamberfest is the annual Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce event featuring Chamber Members. Read More

The “plays-well-with-others” round of the Cliburn Competition has begun.
