The Sangre de Cristo Chorale will cap its 39th season with performances on April 29 in Santa Fe and April 30 in Los Alamos with Night Songs. The Los Alamos Concert Association has engaged a rising young star, pianist Natasha Paremski, to replace Ingrid Fliter who has regretfully cancelled her performance May 7 for family reasons.
 
Ms. Paremski’s program will include Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Paganini and three mazurkas and the Scherzo No. 4 in E Major, Op. 54 by Chopin.

The 2017 Los Alamos County Summer Concert Series is the 28th and final one for concert promoter Russ Gordon. He’s gotten a job offer he can’t refuse.
